Born in a family of photographers – the father was a novice, and his uncle Carlo was a journalist and founder of the Italian Beat Generation – Davide Silvestro has always captured his life experiences by a Pentax Asahi Spormatic.

During his studies, he supported himself by working as apprentice, initially like lighting assistant and then as account in a Communication Agency.
Later on, he left his studies in Economics and spent about a year in the Typographical field. In the early 2000s he combines his experiences managing a series of event – wedding events – which will keep him busy for ten years.

The attitude to storytelling allowed him to challenge himself in video making, and so he established himself over the years, thanks to some videos made for international brands, including Nokia, Reebok and several Italian fashion brands. In 2013, he edited the writing and shooting of Nino Bonocore’s videoclip, “Il lessico del cuore”.

A dreamer always on the move, he finds his anchor in Luca, a young and determined friend with whom he gives life to Life Photography, a project based on the personal vision of wedding photography.
Today he lives in Florence, when work does not lead him to travel.”
